ACTs!

4/24/07

Juniors:
Today, we lost first and sixth hour due to the ACT test. We took a bit of a breather seventh hour and we previewed poetry. We went over one of my favorite poems, “Nobody” by Shel Silverstein. We discussed how poems are different for each person and what exactly defines a poem.

Tomorrow, we’re going to loose first hour due to the PSAE’s, so we’re going to play a review game.

Senior Speech:
Today we wrapped up our dramatic interpretations. We got a handout on our radio spot project, WCHS. We’ll be working on this for the next week. A workable script is due a week from Thursday and if all goes as planned, we’ll be giving these the next day.

English 4:
Today we began our poetry presentations. Make sure you are ready to present tomorrow if you did not go today. Students need to bring their book and something to write with.
