Today we gave our color presentation. It’s important that you make it up on your own time. Remember, you need to give me three instances of color acting as a symbol in the novel. We also discussed chapter 8. Make sure you understand chapter 8.

Tomorrow, continue reading The Great Gatsby. We will finish the book on Friday. Can you believe we’re all done with it already? On Monday, we will have a test over Gatsby. Be prepared!

Speech
Today we moved around our seating chart. We talked about our minor oral presentations, and wrapped up most of them. Tomorrow, we will give the last presentation and get information on the big oral presentations! Make sure to either be present for class tomorrow, come into school to get this information, or get it from a reliable friend.

We had a small research day today. We lost our 8th hour class, so we just worked on our papers. You guys in 8th hour will have to do this work on your own time. Don't forget, literary analysis papers are due Monday!!
